In the afternoon of Nov. 7, 2006 Advertising Class A graduates of the School of Journalism and Communication gathered in South China University of Technology on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of graduation. Professor Li Xing, former Dean of the College, Party Secretary Feng Xiangyang, Deputy Secretary Liu Tao, and class teacher Associate Professor Jiang Hong attended the event. The activity was hosted by Huang Wencong alumni of Class A Advertising 2006.

Teachers and students watched 10th anniversary video together

The activity opened with the 10th anniversary video made by the alumni. In the video, the scenes outlined the alumni's fulfilling college days, the young faces told the story of youth, and the rousing shout converged into the eternal Class 06 Advertising A.

At the event, Li Xing recalled the bit of time he spent with his classmates in SCUT which was more than ten years ago, and the unfolding stories and humorous language instantly pulled the alumni's memory back to their university days. He welcomed the alumni to visit their alma mater often and continue to struggle in their future work to open up a new world. The secret Feng Xiangyang pointed out that alumni have rich job experience and stand at the forefront of society to transmit advanced knowledge, ideas and methods to the college and students, and the further development of the school needs the support and help from alumni. The deputy secret Liu Tao said that although everyone has changed a lot after ten years, the friendship between classmates is eternal and unchanging, and the friendship with the alma mater will never change. The class teacher Jiang Hong urged the alumni to manage their health while striving to achieve financial freedom.

Afterwards, the alumni spoke enthusiastically, sharing their life and work status with each other and talking about their life experiences and insights. Some of them told the interesting stories of their work, which drew laughter from the audience; some shared the sorrows and sweetness of life from their own experience and encouraged everyone to keep struggling; some intertwined their present experience with the memories of their youth, and gave thanks to the campus and their teachers. The whole scene had an active atmosphere, frequent interaction and continuous applause.
