
Zhang Luyuan is an associate professor and master's supervisor at the School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology. He is a recipient of provincial and ministerial-level youth talent programs and a leader in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area online audiovisual industry. Director of the Creation and Research Center, Director of the Research Center for Intelligent Media and Future Images, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Network Audiovisual Professional Committee of the China Higher Education Film and Television Association.
His main research areas include online audiovisual media, artificial intelligence-based video, and international audiovisual communication. He has published articles in “People's Daily”, “Guangming Daily”, “Modern Communication”, and “Contemporary Communication”. He has published over 80 papers in journals such as Contemporary Cinema, including over 30 CSSCI journal papers; some of these papers were reprinted in publications such as Xinhua Digest. Several policy consultation articles. One academic monograph and six edited works have been published. Projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation have been presided over. He has undertaken more than 10 national and provincial-level research projects, including projects funded by the Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project. He has received multiple awards, including the Theory Award of the China TV Drama Flying Apsaras Award and the Association Award from the China Higher Education Film and Television Society.
