
Dr. Bing Hu, is a professor/master supervisor of the School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology, a visiting scholar of the School of Journalism, University of Missouri, a member of the research association of Public Communication of Science and Technology, a member of China Network Communication Research Association, and the deputy secretary-general of Southern Film and Television Media Development Think Tank of Guangdong Culture Communication Society. He has dual working experiences in radio and television industry and university, with scientific and engineering knowledge background and media industry experience. His research interests include communication technology and social development, science and technology communication, media convergence, etc.
He published more than 20 papers in SSCI, CSSCI, and EI index journals, compiled the textbooks of Principle and application of communication technology , Introduction to digital media communication technology, The course of omni-media communication platform, and wrote the popular science reading Don't say you don't know mathematics (this book was selected in the top10 list of 2018 monthly China good book). He has hosted and completed five provincial and ministerial research projects, and participated in two national social science projects and two radio and television industry-university research projects.
