On June 23rd, the 4th China Data News Contest and the Big Data Visualization Art Talents Training Forum came to an end in Hubei University. In the national finals selection, the students of the School of Journalism and Communication of South China University of Technology won the first prize, the second prize and the third prize. The competition attracted a total of 726 teams and nearly 3,500 participants from 94 universities and 8 industry units across the country. In the rematch stage, a total of 308 works in the academic circle and 25 works in the industry entered the voting session. In the end, 80 works were finalized in the finals and on-site defenses and works were displayed. In the finals, a total of 11 first prizes, 20 second prizes and 43 third prizes were selected. In addition, the competition also named five Best Data News Innovation Awards and five Best Data News Visualization Awards.
