Huang Youdong

A PhD in Philosophy from Sun Yat-sen University, he is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology, and Director of the Humanities and General Education Center. His research interests include cultural studies, cultural theory and application, and the history of Chinese culture. He teaches undergraduate courses such as “Traditional Chinese Culture”, “Chinese Literature and Culture”, and “Introduction to Chinese and Western Culture”; and graduate courses such as “History of Chinese Culture”, “Selected Readings in Original Works of Chinese Philosophy”, and “Special Studies on Cultural and Creative Industries”. He has published over 20 papers in journals such as Academic Research and Modern Philosophy. He has published one monograph and one textbook. He has led four provincial and municipal-level projects and several other projects.
