Huang Guiping

Huang Guiping is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology. She is also the Deputy Director of the Documentary Film Creation and Research Center at South China University of Technology and the Head of the Audiovisual Department of the School of Journalism and Communication. Her main courses, practical experience, and research are all related to documentaries. Her courses include "A Brief History of Documentary Films" and "Analysis of Documentary Film Genres." She guides students in producing documentaries, promotional videos for Menglian County, Yunnan Province, and various corporate promotional videos. She serves as a judge for several documentary film competitions and is a key organizer of the Student Competition at the China (Guangzhou) International Documentary Film Festival.
