Zhao Hong

Zhao Hong, Ph.D., Professor, School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology, Member of the Academic Committee of the College. He used to be the deputy editor of the news editorial office of SouthernDaily, and the vice president of School of Journalism and Communication at South China University of Technology. He is the executive director of the Chinese Journalism and Education History Society, the deputy director of the editorial committee of the Guangdong Publishing Industry Association, the executive director of the Guangdong Provincial Press Institute, the evaluation expert of the degree thesis of the State Council, and the expert of Guangdong Digital Publishing Experts Bank. He has published 5 monographs and published more than 30 papers in Chinese core journals. 

The main research areas: Pre-Qin thinking and politics, modern Chinese’s social trends of thought, news theory and practice, and media management. Currently mainly engaged in rural communication research.
