Chen Juan

Chen Juan, born in December 1977, is from Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. She has worked at the School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology since August 2008, serving successively as lecturer, associate professor, professor, and doctoral supervisor. Currently, she is the director of the Guangdong Provincial Public Health Risk Monitoring and Information Dissemination Center. Her research focuses on health communication, science communication, and community communication. She has presided over more than 10 national social science fund projects, Ministry of Education planning projects, and other provincial and ministerial-level research projects. She has published over 30 papers in authoritative academic journals such as Journalism and Communication Research, International Journalism Review, Modern Communication, and Journalism University. She is a reviewer for Journalism and Communication Research, Journalism Studies (Taiwan), The Journalist, and Journalism University.
