Humanities Quality Education Center

The function of the Humanities Quality Education Center lies in organizing faculty members to develop courses for general education. At present, SCUT has 192 general education courses, including 38 developed by the Center that accounts for 20% of all the courses offered. Among 19 core courses for the university’s general education,

7 courses were developed by the Center, accounting for 37% of the core courses.

The Center plays an important role in developing classes in humanities and social sciences, and it makes great contribution to improve cultural quality of college students.
