Su Hongyuan

Su Hongyuan, born in 1963, Taicang, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the Department of Communication of the Academy of Culture and Social Sciences, Salzburg University, Austria. Long been engaged in teaching and research of news dissemination and administrative management. He is now a professor, doctoral tutor, dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at South China University of Technology, and also serves as the vice chairman of the teaching guidance committee of the journalism and communications specialty of Guangdong Province. He is the sixth member of Guangdong Province. Member of Academic Disciplinary Committee of the Academic Degrees Committee, member of Editorial Board ofChina Journalism and Communications Yearbook, and reviewing expert of the National Publishing Fund. In 2016, he was selected to be the first “Chinese Journalism and Communication Education Yearbook” organized by the China Society of Journalism, Communication and Education History, and “The Main Scholar of the National News and Communication Education Circle”.

1983.7-1986.8, editor and reporter of Jiangsu Arts Radio Department of Literature and Art;
1986.9-1988.12, reporter of the Tibet Radio and Television Department Press Center;
1989.1-1991.3, editor and reporter of the Economic Department of Jiangsu People's Broadcasting Station;
1991.4-2001.9, Lecturer, Associate Professor and Assistant Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of Nanjing Normal University;
2000.4-2001.9, Associate Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication, Nanjing Normal University;
2001.10-2007.10, study at the University of Salzburg, Austria, and received a doctorate in communications;
2007.12- successively served as Associate Professor, Professor, Director of Communication Department, Director of International Exchange Center, and Dean.School of Journalism and Communication, South China University of Technology
