1. In January 2006, the article "Cultural Celebrities Emerging from a Major Commercial Town" won the "Outstanding Special Issue Article" award from the Pearl River Commercial Daily in 2005.
2. In May 2005, awarded the title of "Outstanding Doctor of Guangdong".
3. In January 2001, the article "A Word of 'Fellow Workers' Fills with Affection" won the First Prize in the "Feature Category" of the 2000 Guangdong Enterprise Newspaper and Periodical Good News Selection.
4. In May 2001, the report "Comprehensive Promotion of Urbanization" won the third prize of the Guangdong News Award.
5. In January 2000, the article "Inviting Someone to Sweat Is Not as Good as Inviting Them to Dinner" won the third prize in the newspaper feature category of the 1999 "Shunde Good News Award".
Guiding students to win awards
1. Guided students to participate in the "2023 University Journalism Awards" organized by China Daily. Their work "Pan Jingzhao: Cantonese Opera 'Envelops' My Life" won the "Best Cultural and Artistic News Report Award" at this year's event.
2. Guided students to participate in the 8th "Internet+" Competition, and produced a video promotion of "Research on Equipment Defect Indication and Identification Technology for Intelligent Inspection of Transmission Network in New Power Systems" (in cooperation with the School of Electrical Engineering), which won the bronze award in the school competition.
3. In January 2023, I guided students to participate in the Guangdong Provincial Higher Education Institutions' Series of Activities Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland and the 23rd Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland, themed "Returning to the Motherland, Sharing Prosperity and Strength," and they won the second prize for their poster.
4. In September 2022, the "Guangdong Youth Speak" Youth Online Commentator Training Program and the first Online Commentary Competition of Southern News Network guided students to create news commentary articles such as "From afar, cultural and creative industries are full of spring, and ancient sites resonate far away"; "Collaborative Innovation: The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is Building a New Highland for Higher Education"; "Big Data 'Price Discrimination': Less Tricks, More Sincerity"; "A New Journey of Major Country Diplomacy: Youth Power Writes a New Chapter"; and "The 'Timing' and 'Moment' of Youth Development in the Greater Bay Area", which were selected and awarded prizes respectively.
5. In March 2022, guided students to participate in the 6th Guangdong University Network Media Exhibition Festival with their work "From Narcissism to Utilitarianism: Is it the Fault of Young People?", won the second prize in the "Yueyi Culture" cultural promotion competition.
6. In March 2022, guided students to participate in the 6th Guangdong University Network Media Exhibition Festival with their work "On the Nation's 'Youthful Sense': Where is it Heading?", winning the third prize in the "Yueyi Culture" cultural promotional work category.
7. In December 2021, guided students to participate in the "University Journalism Award" organized by China Daily, with the article "Robbing Peter to Pay Paul: Their 'Future' is Trapped in Online Microloans," which won the first prize in the financial news category.
8. In March 2016, supervised a student research project entitled "A Study on the Overall Status Quo and Future Development Trend of Guangzhou Animation in the New Media Environment," which was awarded the "Hundred Steps Ladder" school-level project.
9. In May 2015, supervised a student project entitled "The Development of Original Comedy Reality Shows from the Perspective of Innovation in China's Cultural Industry," a provincial-level project that won the third prize in the 14th Guangdong Provincial "Challenge Cup" College Students' Extracurricular Academic Works Competition.
10. In March 2013, I supervised students' research on "A Survey of College Students' Trust in News of Major Accidents on Weibo," which won the "Hundred Steps Ladder" school-level project award.
