At 7 p.m. in the night of September 25th, the choral evening entitled “I Love My Motherland” was held in the gymnasium of north campus by the union of SCUT. SJC presented a song named My Motherland to show the best wishes for our motherland’s 60th birthday.
“The wheels of history move ahead with time; the land is full of the essence of civilization......” While OU Huiling and LIU Xingdong were delivering a recitation passionately, the whole faculty of SCJ was singing ardently on the stage. A beautiful duet unveiled a chorus led by HE Jianhua and DAI Suqiong, the former’s voice was vigorous and thick, while the latter’s was soft and melodious. The harmony was also great, especially the male faculty whose voice wasof tremendous vigor. Under the conduction of the Dean LI Xing, the chorus has done a good job and showed their great energy.
By participating in this chorus, the communication and cohesion between the faculties have been greatly enhanced and strengthened. The new generation of SCUT eulogizes our motherland with their passion, wishing for the prosperity of our motherland.
