Ning Qunxian

Ning Qunxian, male, born in August 1980, is from Shaoyang, Hunan Province. He holds a doctorate and is an associate professor. He worked at Guangdong Radio and Television Station for nearly seven years, serving successively as a news reporter, chief editor, and producer in the planning and branding department of Guangdong Satellite TV. He was the main creator of dozens of film and television works, including large-scale galas, documentaries, feature films, promotional videos, and public service advertisements, with more than 10 winning national and provincial awards. In 2013, he joined the School of Journalism and Communication at South China University of Technology, where he mainly engages in research and teaching in film and television industry policy, film and television program creation practice, news communication, and brand planning and marketing. He has undertaken several provincial and university-level research projects and teaches courses such as “Film and Television Directing and Production”, “Audiovisual Text Writing”, “Television News Reporting”, “On-Camera Reporting”, and “Documentary Appreciation”.
