Online Chinese Language Program（2022）

1. ELIGIBILITY

All applicants shall be:

a) Non-Chinese citizens;

b) In good physical and mental conditions, and with good academic performance and conduct;

c) Between the ages of 16 and 35.

2. PROGRAM DURATION

a) One-Academic-Year Online Study Program

March 2022 to January 2023 (Tuition fee: 16200/year):

b) One-Semester Online Study Program

March 2022 to July 2022 (Tuition fee: 8500/semester)

Full coverage on the tuition fee.

4. COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

SCUT offers the Chinese language courses with different levels, which can meet different students’ need. Beside of the language courses, Chinese culture courses and special lectures are also included, which can help students understand the development process of contemporary China comprehensively.

5. MAIN COURSES

a) Chinese Language: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Online News Reading, etc.

b) Chinese Culture: Traditional Festivals, Traditional Food, etc.

c) Special Lectures: Latest Development and Achievements of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Artificial Intelligence, Smart City, etc.

6. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

a)     The first page of the passport

b)    One-Academic-Year Study Program: Certificate of HSK score of 180 or above

 One-Semester Study Program: Certificate of HSK

7. APPLICATION DEADLINE

November 11, 2021

8. COMPLETION

Students who complete the scheduled courses and with good attendance and qualified grades will be awarded an official SCUT certificate of completion.
