Our undergraduates won two first-class prizes of the Fourteenth ‘Challenge Cup’ Competition of Guangdong Province

The Fourteenth ‘Challenge Cup’ Final Competition of Guangdong Province was hold in 9th-11th of June, 2017. This is one of the most popular provincial scientific and technological competition especially for college students. Total 22 projects from South China University of Technology were elected into the final competition, and 11 of them won the grand class prize. Our university also was awarded the ‘Winner Cup’ based on the second highest score we obtained. Two projects leading by undergraduates from the school of Light Industry and Engineering won two first-class prizes.

  

The ‘Challenge Cup’ Competition has been widely recognized as the ‘Olympic Games’ of scientific and technological innovation as well as entrepreneurship for college students. The research outcomes for the competition includes scientific paper of natural science, the investigation report and academic paper of social science as well as the technological inventions. It is an important platform for college students in China to show their innovative ability.
