On the morning of March 4^th, an opening ceremony of adult higher education for 2017 new students was held in room 603, building 33. Sun Guozhong, the secretary of the party committee, associate professor Yang Chao, some other professors, and all new students attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhong Jian.

Sun Guozhong expressed a warm welcome to new students and introduced in detail the history of college, teaching facilities and professional characteristics. He pointed out that students can make full use of teaching platform to improve their own quality, enhance their core competitiveness. He also encouraged students to change learning methods and attitudes. He said that students were supposed to learn to study, work, practice, and thinking effectively.

Professor Yang Chao, on behalf of teachers, made a speech from education, human nature to responsibility. He hoped that the new students in the next three years, established correct learning objectives. He pointed out that students must try to make contribution to society.

Subsequently, Liao Meihui and Qin Weijiang on behalf of new students made a speech.

After the opening ceremony, the new college entrance education was held for all new students.
