On 30th June, professor Carl Mitcham made a speech titled on“Engineering Ethics:What Ethics Does to Engineering and What Engineering Does to Ethics”at Building 5. He pointed out the relationship betweeen the ethics and engineeering. All staff of Marxist College attended the meeting.

This meeting inclueded two phrases: the first phrase is that prfessor Carl Mitcham pointede out What Ethics Does to Engineering. Then, What Engineering Does to Ethics was pointed out by him.

Professor Carl Mitcham laid a great importance on the loyalty. He said that without the loyalth, there were no unity of society. Besides, he said justice was more important than loyalty.

Professor Carl Mitcham as one of the famous technical philosophers, what he said in meeting had great influence on attendants. All participants showed a thanks to him.
