In the golden autumn of September,the 10^th “Sense of physical life” alumni forum lecture life, sponsored by the Youth League Committee of the School of Physics and Optoelectronics and organized by the Liaison Department of the Youth League Committee of the School of Physics and Optoelectronics, has been successfully carried out on September 25^th, 2021 at 206, BoXue Building, South China University of Technology. For this wonderful forum, the School of Physics and Optoelectronics specially invited three extinguished alumni. It is hoped that undergraduates of our school can have an easy way learning unique industrial insights and rich work experience from three outstanding senior students, thus help students of our school calmly face the choice and make a good life plan.

Guests Invited

First, Chen Zhicheng analyzed the digital transformation of China's economy and society for the students. He introduced the development and opportunities of digital economy from four major trends: political trends, technological trends, emerging trends, economic trends. The students had a further understanding of the macro industrial situation. Then, Ke MingHui kindly shared his own entrepreneurial experience and personal growth summary at various stages. Ke's spirits of constant study professional knowledge and successful entrepreneurial experience brought light on a path to the students. He also summarized the technical trend of Interconnection of all things and Intelligent City. At the same time, he encouraged the students to develop comprehensively in the college stage. Then Luo Guoxiang shared his life planning, by sharing his life experience and life outlook. He encouraged the students to have a plan of life so that they can live with calm and without regret. Students benefit a lot from his life planning lecture.

Alumni sharing

Then, after the sharing of the three seniors, we invited the seniors to sat around the table and exchanged questions with the host on the spot. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the audience listened attentively between the host and the seniors. Mr. Xu Xiao, the former head teacher of the alumni, shared his experience of teaching undergraduate courses of the college and its influence on students' future employment and further study and finishing this part. After three seniors signed on the memorial board of the alumni forum, the event ended successfully.

In this activity, three outstanding seniors shared with students from different angles---industry background, work experience and life planning. It helps students program the undergraduate life and personal future career and life planning. Hope everybody can calmly face the future life path choice, and find ideal direction, whether in the work or in the field of scientific research.
