内容提要:
Based on the evolution generated by a Hamiltonian, the Krylov complexity measures the spread of the wavefunction in the Hilbert space. In a chaotic system, the evolution of the Krylov complexity of a maximally entangled state (MES) exhibits linear growth-peak-saturation regions. Based on random matrix theories, we study the transition probability from the MES to the Krylov basis and find rise-slope-ramp-plateau behaviors. We explain why only the peak of Krylov complexity is related to chaos.
报告人简介:
Zhuo-Yu Xian (冼卓宇) got his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in 2018. After that, he worked as a postdoc at the Institute of Theoretical Physics (ITP), CAS, and the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg. Recently, he is interested in holography, the SYK model, and quantum chaos.
