报告摘要:Hypernuclei, bound states of hyperons and nucleons, serve as a powerful experimental tool for studying hyperon-nucleon interactions. High-energy heavy-ion collisions are the only means to produce high-temperature, high-density nuclear matter in the laboratory, offering a unique opportunity to investigate the density-dependent hyperon-nucleon interaction in nuclear matter. This report presents recent experimental progress on hypernuclei production and collective flow in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. Theoretical models are discussed to explore the production mechanisms of hypernuclei, the medium-dependent hyperon-nucleon interaction, and their implications for understanding neutron star properties.

报告人简介:Dr. Yapeng Zhang obtained his doctorate from Heidelberg University in 2013 and conducted a six-month postdoctoral fellowship there. He joined Institute of Modem Physics (IMP), CAS as an associate professor in 2013.8 to 2023.11, since 2023.12 , he has served as a full professor at IMP. With over a decade of research on hypernuclei production in high-energy heavy-ion collisions, he led the first observation of collective flow in such collisions in 2023 using the STAR experiment. He also plays a leading role in software development for the HIRLF-CSR External-target Experiment (CEE), China's first large-scale spectrometer for high-energy nuclear physics, scheduled to begin data collection in 2025 at the Lanzhou HIRFL-CSR accelerator complex.
