Biography: Dr. Gaolin Liang received his B.S. from Nanjing University in 1993. He got his M.S. from Zhengzhou University in 2002 and Ph.D. from Fudan University in 2005. From Sept. 2005 to Jan. 2008, he conducted his postdoctoral fellow in the Chemistry Department of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Bing Xu. From Jan. 2008 to May 2010, he was postdoctoral fellow of School of Medicine Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. Jianghong Rao. He joined USTC as a full professor in the March of 2010.
Dr. Liang has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers，Most of them have been published in prestigious journals such as Nature Chemistry, Accounts of Chemical Research, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Chemical Science, Biomaterials, Analytical Chemistry, Nanoscale, Chemical Communications and so on，cited over 2300 5,000 times, H-index35. He has Obtained 1 National Certificate of Class II new drug、7 Chinese Patent , 1 the World Patent, 1 the United States Patent . In addition, he was supported by the National Science Foundation for outstanding young people (2017) , the 100-person program of Anhui Province (2012) , the outstanding Young Science Foundation of Anhui Province (2011) , and the support program for outstanding talents in the new century of the Ministry of Education (2010) .
