王君林,广东工业大学集成电路学院特聘教授,先进自旋电子器件实验室负责人,入选广东省重大人才工程引进类青年项目。获澳门科技大学理学学士学位,英国约克大学哲学博士学位,曾在英国约克大学担任博士后研究员,主要从事磁性随机存储器、自旋存算一体器件、原子尺度自旋动力学模型等研究。在权威期刊上发表学术论文近30篇,主持参与多项国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、广东省自然科学基金项目。担任广东省材料研究学会先进磁性与半导体材料专委会委员,领域权威期刊《Nature Communications》、《Applied Physics Letters》、《Materials Today Electronics》等期刊审稿人。


讲座内容简介:

Atomistic spin modeling has emerged as an essential computational approach for understandingmagnetic materials across length and time scales that are difficult to access using either first-principles calculations or continuum micromagnetics alone. In this framework, a magnetic material isrepresented as a lattice of localized atomic magnetic moments, whose interactions are described byspin Hamiltonians incorporating exchange coupling, magnetic anisotropy, Zeeman energy, dipolarinteractions, and the Dzyaloshinski-Moriya interaction. The time evolution of these magneticmoments is typically modeled using the atomistic Landau-Lifshitz-Gillbert equation, often extendedby stochastic thermal fields to capture finite-temperature magnetization dynamics. This presentationintroduces the fundamental concepts, theoretical foundations, and recent advances in atomistic spin modeling.
