章秀银，现任华南理工大学微电子学院常务副院长。国家杰青、万人计划科技创新领军人才、IEEE Fellow、教育部科技委委员，“近距离无线通信与网络”教育部工程研究中心主任，中国电子学会微波分会副主任委员，IEEE广州分会副主席，荣获2024腾讯科学探索奖，广东省自然科学一等奖（第一完成人），广东省技术发明一等奖 (第一完成人)，第二十三届中国专利银奖/第八届广东专利金奖（第一发明人）等。

研究方向：射频芯片/器件与前端系统，天线，智能无线感知与通信感知一体化，物联网等。共发表SCI/EI论文400余篇，授权中国发明专利70余项、美国/欧洲发明专利10余项。先后主持30余项纵向项目和20余项企业委托横向项目，包括国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家重点研发计划/重大专项课题、广东省/广州市重点研发计划项目等，部分成果已在行业龙头企业大规模产业化应用。

Prof. Xiu Yin Zhang is currently executive vice-dean of the School of Microelectronics at South China University of Technology. He is a Distinguished Young Scientist awarded by the National Natural Science Foundation Committee of China， National “Ten Thousand Talents Program” Leading Scientist in Technological Innovation, IEEE Fellow, Member of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Committee, Director of  the Engineering Research Center of Short-Range Wireless Communication and Networks, Ministry of Education, vice chair of CIE microwave society, vice chair of IEEE Guangzhou section. He was awarded the 2024 Tencent Science Exploration Prize, the First Prize of Guangdong Natural Science Award, the first prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award, The 33rd China Patent Silver Award / the 8th Guangdong Patent Gold Award.

His research fields include RFICs, RF components and systems, antennas, intelligent wireless communication and sensing, internet of things. He has published over 400 SCI/EI indexed papers and granted over 70 China patents and more than 10 US/European patents. He is the principal investigator of over 30 research programs from government and 20 research projects commissioned by enterprises Some achievements have been transferred to industry.
