The clinical medicine majorinsists on fostering the establishment of moral virtues and people cultivationand strengthening the talent training concept of Three Capabilities(learning ability, ideological strength, and action ability) and the ThreeBasics and Three Stricts (basic theories, basic knowledge, and basicskills, as well as strict requirements, rigorous attitude, and serious workstyle). The clinical medicine major strives to cultivate interdisciplinarymedical talents with both patriotic feelings and global visions as well ascomprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness,aesthetics, and labor, meanwhile, are willing to dedicate themselves to thedevelopment of the public health industry in our country and the physical andmental health of humanity for a lifetime.

Student Outcomes:
Undergraduate graduates majoringin clinical medicine should establish a correct world outlook, outlook on lifeand values, love the motherland, be loyal to the people, abide by laws andregulations, and be willing to devote their entire lives to the development ofthe country's medical and health care cause and the physical and mental healthof mankind. The basic requirements that undergraduate graduates majoring inclinical medicine should meet are divided into four areas: science and academia, clinical ability, health and society, andprofessional spirit and quality.

No. 1.1 Possess the basicknowledge of natural science, humanities and social science, medicine and otherdisciplines, master scientific methods, and be able to apply them to guidefuture studies and medical practice.
No. 1.2 Be capable of applyingscientific knowledge such as medicine to handle medical or health-relatedissues in individuals, groups, and health systems.
No. 1.3 Be capable ofunderstanding and describing the prevention of diseases at all stages of life,as well as the causes, pathogenesis, course, clinical manifestations,diagnosis, treatment, outcome, prognosis and rehabilitation of diseases.
No. 1.4 Be capable of masteringthe basic characteristics and fundamental principles of diagnosis and treatmentof traditional Chinese medicine.
No. 1.5 Be capable of obtaining,discriminating, understanding and applying evidence in medical and otherscientific literature.

No. 2.1 Possess excellentcommunication skills and be capable of effectively interacting with patients,their families or guardians, colleagues, and other health professionals.
No. 2.2 Be capable ofcomprehensively, systematically and accurately collecting medical history.
No. 2.3 Be capable of conductingsystematic and standardized physical examinations and mental state evaluations,and write medical records in a standardized manner. And be able to form apreliminary judgment based on the medical history and physical examinationresults, conduct differential diagnosis, and propose reasonable treatmentprinciples.
No. 2.4 Be capable of selectingappropriate clinical examination methods based on factors such as the patient'scondition, safety, and cost-effectiveness, and explain their rationality. Beable to make judgments and interpretations on the examination results.

No. 2.11 Self-care can detect andevaluate changes in the condition and its severity, and provide possible firstaid to patients who require urgent treatment.

To achieve humanitarian goals and improvethe quality of death for patients, palliative care methods such as symptomatictreatment and psychological support should be adopted.
