On September 6, 92 undergraduates, 194 masters, and 58 PhD students from all over the country gathered at the School of Medicine of South China University of Technology. The number hit a recorded high since the establishment of the School of Medicine.

At 7: 30 a.m., the welcome ceremony for the new students began.
