On the 22nd , June, more than 20 members of the Party branch organization of medical school of the South China University of Technology , faculty members and activists joining the party go to Zhou Wenyong, Chen Tiejun martyrs cemetery, remembering the revolutionary martyrs and paying tribute to heroes and alumni.

Zhou Wenyong and Chen Tiejun are the 100 heroes who made outstanding contributions to the founding of new China. One passage in the Chinese textbook  is named “the wedding on the execution” to memorize Zhou Wenyong, Chen Tiejun deeds in the revolution. Zhou Wenyong and Chen Tiejun were in love in the revolutionary struggle in Guangzhou, held a solemn wedding, and contributed themselves to the country, leaving famous revolutionary romantic story. Zhou Wenyong was born in August 1905, was admitted by the Guangzhou provincial  technical school of mechanical department, read the CPC organ guide, sowing the seeds of revolution in heart, and the school is one of the source of the South China University of Technology.

Visiting the Memorial Hall

After the visit, everyone is moved by two revolutionary martyrs. They had lofty beliefs and great ideals. They sacrificed their young lives for the happiness of new China.Party members have expressed their great pride in having such alumni predecessors. We must firmly believe in communism, cherish the good life now, work hard, be practical and enterprising, and fight for communism for our whole life.
