Abstract:
An introduction to the Royal Society of Chemistry and a quick guide on the publishing process and what to be aware of when writing your research article in order to have the best chance for it to be sent out for peer review and be accepted.
Biography:
Dr Maria Southall is Executive Editor for the RSC’s Interfaces & Engineering portfolio of journals, including Biomaterials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Soft Matter, Catalysis Science & Technology, Reaction Chemistry & Engineering and Molecular Systems Design & Engineering (MSDE). She has been at the Royal Society of Chemistry since 2014 working on a variety of RSC journals. Maria has a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Glasgow, UK and prior to moving to the RSC, she carried out postdoctoral research at University College London (UCL) and the University of Cambridge, UK.
