On November 16, Thomson Reuters published the latest list of the Highly Cited Researchers 2016. There are 183 Chinese researchers selected into the list, including 7 researchers from SCUT. Among them, Cao Yong, Ye Xuanli, Wu Hongbin, Huang Fei and Ma Dongge, from School of Materials Science and Engineering, taking SCUT as their primary affiliation, were named in the category of materials science. Besides, Tang Benzhong, who is also from our School, taking SCUT as his secondary affiliation, was selected in both materials science and chemistry.
According to the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) data released on November 11, SCUT has published 19,557 ESI papers, including 317 highly cited papers. The total citation times has reached 197,950 and the average citation times for each paper is 10.12.
