Symposium on Aggregation-Induced Emission (AIE) Materials in Biomedical Applications

On April 16, Symposium on Aggregation-Induced Emission (AIE) Materials in Biomedical Applications was held in the Conference Hall N308A, State Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices, South China University of Technology. It was hosted by Academician Benzhong Tang and Vice President of the School of Materials Science and Engineering Li Ren. There are more than 30 people attended the conference. They are famous doctors from Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital and the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, as well as experts and students from South China University of Technology, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Sun Yat-Sen University and Zhejiang University.
Members of the Academician Tang’s scientific research team detailed the properties of AIE Materials and its developments in the field of biomedical applications. The attendees were very interested in the AIE Materials. They had a warm discussion on the potential applications of diagnosis, surgical imaging and pathological research.
