Brief introduction to Prof. Omar Elkedim 
      Omar Elkedim holds a phD in chemistry of materials from the University of Technology of Compiegne (France) in 1987 and a habilitation degree from the University of Haute Alsace (Mulhouse, France in 1997. He was nominated as associate professor at University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard in 1990. He makes his researches in the department mn2s, witin the Femto-st institute, His research is focused on the elaboration and characterization of physico-chemical properties of nanocrystalline materials obtained by ball milling. Recently, he is interested in fabrication of shape memory materials thin films for application as microactuators and micromachines. He is authored or co-authored about 50 papers in international and national peer-reviewed journals and he has participated at 60 international and national conferences with proceedings.
