On 28th MAY, the semimars of  requirement analysis and industry target on low carbon technology roadmap in cement industry were held again in the School of Material Science and Engineering. Lu ZENG, the investigator from Guangdong Science and Technology Department attended the meeting and made a speech .More than thirty experts from all over the country participated the meeting.
During the meeting, the investigator had said that Cement industry in Guangdong Province is facing a very serious situation, the environmental impact of cement production is increasing, Cement industry has much room for development in the energy-saving and technology upgrade. in the planning outline of the twelfth five-year plan, the traditional industries of low-carbon technologies and energy savings was repointed as a fully-supporting direction.And he also hoped that the project team can draw up a roadmap for the development of  the cement industry in Guangdong Province with h high regulatory Grid.
The sessions have discussed the technical barriers, the elements of demand factors, market demand and industry goals for the development. The condensed the line for low-carbon technology development of the cement industry are of great importance to the cement industry of Guangdong province.
