203 works enter final of SCUT 12th Challenge Cup

On the afternoon of Mar. 24, the final of the 12th Challenge Cup of SCUT student extracurricular academic, science and technology work competition was launched at the east square in front of Shaw Building of Humanities.
 
It is learned that the 12th Challenge Cup has received 203 pieces of works from 19 schools since its initiation in Dec. 2010. The works cover knowledge of disciplines like mechanical control, information technology, energy and chemical industry, philosophy, law, and economics etc. The contest judges will evaluate the submitted written materials and oral defense performance to decide the winners of first, second, third prizes and group ranking. Meanwhile, the winning works will get the permission as representative of SCUT to attend the 11th Challenge Cup of Guangdong provincial competition as well as the 12th Challenge Cup of national competition.
