On 16th December, the semimars  of  requirement analysis and industry target on low carbon technology roadmap in cement industry were held in the School of Material Science and Engineering. More than thirty experts from all over the country participated the meeting.During the meeting, the experts exchanged their ideas. for the development of cement industry in Guangdong Province the status and trends, as well as the technical difficulties and the current hot spots were analyzed and commented, and, market demand and industrial targets of the cement industry in Guangdong Province were in-depth discussed. 

        Cement industry of Guangdong Province low-carbon technology road map is the school itself in 2010 in Guangdong Province plans major science and technology, the project to the cement industry as the background to the carbon emission reduction as the core, energy saving, recycling and resource comprehensive economic development used as a target, around the cement production process and application life cycle, the establishment of model cement industry carbon emissions, according to market demand - industry objectives - technical barriers - R & D needs, the concise process, analysis and identification of low-carbon technologies cement industry in Guangdong Province development path, quantify the carbon emission targets, clearly the future development of cement industry of Guangdong Province in the direction, approach and objectives to be completed faster and better in Guangdong province green cement, Guangdong Province and promote the healthy development of China's cement industry.
