The 12th Biennial Conference of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering-Biomaterials Branch (CSBME-BMB) will be held December 4-7, 2009 at the South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, P.R.    Since the first meeting in 1986, CSBME-BMB has successfully organized 11 biennial conferences and dedicated to advance the innovative research and development of biomaterials science and technology in China. Serving as a high standard platform, the 12th biennial conference cordially invites scientists, engineers, clinicians, and medical device manufacturers to present their new findings, new theories, new methodologies and technologies. It is also the aim of the conference to promote the multi-disciplinary collaborations both national and international. The scientific program will include the invited plenary lectures, symposia with invited keynote speakers, and oral and poster presentations.

     Following the conference, there will be a one-day visit to several prestigious universities in Hong Kong. This special session intends to bring closer relationship between Mainland and Hong Kong academia and scholars in the biomaterials field and foster interactive opportunity.
