Three SCUT Law School Projects Win Guangdong Province Excellent Achievements Awards in Philosophy and Social Sciences

Recently, theGuangdong Provincial Government officially released the Notice on theAnnouncement of the 10th Guangdong Province Excellent Achievements Awards inPhilosophy and Social Sciences. Three research outcomes from the School of Law,South China University of Technology (SCUT) have been honored with awards,including two First Prizes and one Second Prize.

It is reported that theGuangdong Provincial Outstanding Achievements Award in Philosophy and SocialSciences is the highest-level and most influential government award in thefield of philosophy and social sciences in the province, with an evaluationheld once every two years. The award aims to recognize collectives orindividuals who have made outstanding contributions to philosophical and socialscience research, fully mobilize and stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity ofresearchers in these fields, and promote the prosperity and development ofphilosophy and social sciences in Guangdong. A total of 500 achievements werehonored in this edition, including 110 First-Class Awards, 192 Second-ClassAwards and 198 Third-Class Awards.
