SCUT Law School Hosts Expert Guidance Session on National Social Science Fund (NSSF) Project Applications

In order tofurther enhance the research capacity of the School of Law and improve thequality of applications for the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSF),the School held a project guidance session for NSSF applicants on March 21.

The meetinginvited two distinguished scholars as guest experts: Professor Zhang Zetao fromGuangzhou University and Professor Qu Maohui from Hunan University, who sharedvaluable insights and experience in project application strategies. The sessionwas chaired by Professor Jiang Wuzhen, Dean of the School of Law, and attendedby faculty members preparing applications for the 2024 NSSF program.

Duringthe meeting, the applicants presented the background, framework structure andresearch approaches of their proposed topics. The attending experts carefullyreviewed the application materials and listened attentively to thepresentations, offering specific revision suggestions from the perspectives oftopic selection, content arrangement, logical coherence and framework design.The applicants engaged in thorough discussions with the experts regarding thedifficulties and issues encountered in the application process, laying a solidfoundation for revising and refining their application materials and enhancingthe overall quality of their submissions.

Thesuccessful organization of this expert guidance meeting for NSSF projectapplications has provided a favorable platform for the Law School’s faculty to learn and exchange ideas. It willhelp promote the in-depth development of the school’s research work and elevate its overallresearch strength.
