On October 21, Seminar on Constructing China's Independent Economic Law Knowledge System and the 39th Economic Law Forum of 30 People was hosted by Economic Law  Society of China Law Society, Research Center on Theoretical Jurisprudence of Jilin University, National Collaborative Innovation Center on Judicial Civilization, and was organized by the Law School of South China University of Technology. The seminar was held in the Lecture Hall of Renhouli Beauty Education Base of South China University of Technology. Mr. Xu Yong, the Vice President of SCUT, Mr. Lan Manyu, the Deputy Director of Social Science Department of SCUT, Mr. Zhang Shouwen, the President of Economic Law Research Association of China Law Society, Mr. Du Yanlin, the Director of Theoretical Law Research Center of Jilin University, and more than 60 experts and scholars from 30 universities in China gathered together for this  meeting. Prof. Jiang Wuzhen, the Dean of Law School of South China University of Technology, presided over the event.

This conference theme is Constructing China's Independent Economic Law Knowledge System, which is a profound revolution in the field of jurisprudence with significance of the times and the world. The conference is centered on four topics: Research on the basic theoretical knowledge system of China's autonomous economic law, General principles of constructing the knowledge system of China's autonomous economic law, Methodological system of constructing the knowledge system of China's autonomous economic law and Chinese-style economic rule of law. These topics  were warmly discussed between the experts and scholars from all over the country who contributed their insights on the construction of China's independent economic law knowledge system. In the following free discussion session, an academic exploration across different research fields was carried out.
