In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the National Social Science Foundation (NSRF) projects and to improve the quality of completion of the NSRF projects, on September 16, 2023, the SCUT law school organized an opening meeting for the 2022-2023 NSRF projects in the conference rooms 202 and 403. Overten famous experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Tianjin University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Northwestern University of Political Science and Law, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Municipal Law Society, Shandong Provincial Law Society, and Guangzhou University attended the meeting to provide valuable guidance. Mr. Li Pengfei, the head of the project section of the school's social science department, Professor Xie Huijia, the vice dean of our law school and the project teams attended the meeting, which was presided over by Professor Xie.

During their presentations, the participating experts exchanged their ideas and discussed the project proposals submitted by seven teachers at our law school. The project chairmen made a full and detailed report on the basis of topic selection, research ideas, research framework, key points and difficulties. After listening to the report, the experts and scholars exchanged their knowledge and views on the research direction, themethodology of the project, the theoretical and practical situations related to the project, as well as gave valuable opinions and suggestions.
