On the afternoon of November 18, SCUT Law School held the fourth study session of the leading group's party history study and education special reading class. In order to expand learning scale, all the branch committees and counselors of the ’ Party Branch participated in this session. Mr. Chen Hong, Deputy Secretary-General of the School's Working Committee and Deputy Head of the Famous Teachers' Report Group, was invited to give a special tutorial lecture entitled  Learning the Party History, Promoting the Spirit of the Party, and Being a Qualified Communist menber .

Mr. Chen Hong described the touched stories of many role models in different periods in three sections: Learn from the heroes who sacrificed for the revolution, Learn from the outstanding Communist Party members in the peaceful era, and Learn from the outstanding Communist Party members around us. From Li Dazhao, one of the founders of the Communist Party of China, to Zhao Yiman, a national hero, and Li Botian, the all-powerful screw of SCUT, Mr. Chen Hong used simple language, sincere emotions and vivid examples to explain the spirits of Chinese Communist Party’s members, which are Remain true to original aspiration and Keep mission firmly in mind, Selfless dedication, and Fearless sacrifice. Mr. Chen Hong also issued a call to all the staff and party members of SCUT Law School: Being a qualified Communist Party member is always on the road!

Secretary Zhu Wenjian summarized the lecture. He pointed out that as grassroots party members and cadres, the faculty’s committee members of the Teachers’ Party Branch should learn from these excellent models of Communist Party members, have firm beliefs and selfless dedication, lead the party members of the branch to play the role of the grassroots party branch as a fighting fortress, focusing on the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people. Promote work with party construction, and strive to promote the development of various undertakings of the faculty.
