On February 22, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of national first-class undergraduate major construction sites in 2020, and the intellectual property major of our school entered the construction list. This is another breakthrough in discipline construction after the law major awarded the first national first-class undergraduate program in 2019. So far, both two undergraduate majors of our faculty have been approved as national first-class major construction sites.

It is reported that our University will add 16 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites in 2020, and the total number of national first-class undergraduate major construction sites in the school will reach 40, accounting for 48% of the school’s undergraduate majors.

From April 2019, the Ministry of Education has implemented the Double Ten Thousand Plan for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, and will build about 10,000 national first-class undergraduate majors and about 10,000 provincial first-class undergraduate majors in 2019-2021. In 2020, the Ministry of Education identified a total of 3,977 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 4,448 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites.
