On November 16-17, 2019, the 2019 Annual Meeting of the Economic Law Research Association of the China Law Society and the 27th National Seminar on Economic Law Theory were held in our faculty. This meeting was hosted by the Economic Law Research Society of the China Law Society, undertook by Law School of South China University of Technology and Guangzhou Municipal Party governing the City by Law Committee.

Wang Qijiang, Vice President of China Law Society, Liang Weifa, President of Guangdong Law Society, and Zhang Shouwen, President of Economic Law Research Association of China Law Society attended the annual meeting. Nearly 300 experts and scholars from more than 300 universities and research institutions such as Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Tsinghua University, etc. conducted intense academic discussions and collisions of ideas on the topic of comprehensive rule of law and economic law.
