From 27-30 March,2017, Seminar on senior management of intellectual property service industry was held successfully in SCUT. This seminar was held by State Intellectual Property Planning Department, undertook by Guangdong Intellectual Property Bureau and National intellectual property training (Guangdong) base. Liujufang, deputy director general of State Intellectual Property Planning Department, Dangzhi, vice-president of SCUT, Xiehong, deputy-director of Guangdong Intellectual Property Bureau delivered their own speech on the opening up ceremony. Xuyufang, director of Guangdong Intellectual Property Bureau Planning department, Xusonglin, vice-dean of school of law of SCUT, Zhanghonglin, head of Trainning Center attend this ceremony. Almost 80 people took part in this activity, some of them are the third batch of national intellectual property service brand nurturing institutions executives, and some are head of State Intellectual Property Service Industry Cluster.

Seminar includes several modules, which includes Planning interpretation, Experts Lectures, Students Exchange Forum, on-site teaching,etc. 16 experts who have profound theory knowledge and pracical experience made excellent lectures. Among which, Huawei, ZTC, Dajiang all had a theme report about patent ultization and transformation,the demands and evaluation of Intellectual Property service.Guangdong provincial high court judge and some famous lawyers delivered their speech on the evalution of tort lawsuit and defence practice. Some Intellectual Property service brand such as Kangxin shared their practical experience on core competetion. Some experts introduced the present institution and future development of entrepreneurship construction. Besides,students visit and experience the on-site teachng in Guangzhou Telecom Company and China United Patent & Trademark Agency Co, Ltd. National intellectual property training (Guangdong) base has undertaken almost 30 seminars since it was established, the amount of trained students has reached 2000.
