On December 5, 2015, more than 300 experts and scholars gathered in the Academy Hall for the China Fiscal Law and Tax Law annual meeting, also the 23^rd academy seminar for Cross-strait Fiscal Law and Tax Law. The national magnificent meeting lasted for two days and had a heated discussion on the rule of law and the legal principle of finance and tax, and the nature/functions/system of finance and tax in order to provide some foundational theories for the promotion of all-around development of fiscal law and tax law. Some scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Wuhan University, Taiwan University, Soochow University and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and some representatives from NPC Standing Committee, Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation attended the meeting.
