In the afternoon on November 10, 2015, Prof. Duncan French from Lincoln University in the UK held a seminar on the topic of the solutions for maritime dispute (UNCLOS). On this discussion, Pro. Duncan French firstly introduced the dispute settlement mechanism of UNCLOS, and the analyzed some cases about maritime law and finally made a comparison with the case of Nanhai arbitration case to analyze the some related legal problems of the international maritime disputes.
