New Year, New Atmosphere: Uniting Efforts to Advance Foreign Faculty Work

On the afternoon of March 7th, the School of Foreign Languages held a specialized symposium on foreign faculty work for the new semester in Conference Room 4417 of Building 4. Xu Ying, Vice Dean of the school, heads of relevant departments, and all foreign teachers attended the meeting.

On the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day, Vice Dean Xu Ying first extended holiday greetings to all female foreign teachers on behalf of the school, warmly welcomed the new foreign teachers joining this semester, and presented carefully selected gifts to express the school's care and respect for the foreign faculty.

Vice Dean Xu Ying briefed the foreign teachers on the school’s relevant work for the new semester, particularly regarding ideological matters, professional ethics, and teaching responsibilities. She also explained the policies of both the university and the school in detail and addressed the concerns raised by the foreign teachers. The heads of various departments engaged in thorough and lively discussions with the foreign teachers, ensuring the implementation of the school’s work arrangements.

The foreign teachers unanimously expressed that with the new semester comes a new atmosphere. They are willing to work diligently, fulfill the tasks assigned by the university and the school as required, and collaborate with Chinese faculty to contribute to the high-quality development of the School of Foreign Languages.
