On the morning of November 16, Professor Ren Weiping, Dean of the school of foreign languages of Beijing Information Science and Technology University, and a delegation of five people came to our school for investigation and exchange. Dean Zhong Shuneng, Vice Dean Xu Ying and relevant teachers of the English Department of the university attended the discussion.

    At the exchange symposium, Dean Zhong Shuneng introduced the overall situation and development trend of our school; Vice Dean Xu Ying mainly introduced the curriculum, credit system, teaching staff, and laboratory construction of the University English Teaching Department of our school; Associate Professor Zhou Pingdi shared our experience in general education curriculum management and MOOC construction; Associate Professor Zhan Shuangjuan introduced the practice of Ideological and political construction of College English courses in our school, and interpreted and shared the newly compiled ideological and political course of College English courses jointly published by our school and FLTRP. 

Dean Ren Weiping and Vice Dean Wang Hui also introduced the development status of the school of foreign languages of Beijing Information Science and Technology University. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the important value of Ideological and political textbooks for College English courses, the establishment of an incentive mechanism for College English teachers, and the improvement of the teaching effect of College English online courses.

Our school has always attached importance to exchanges, actively learned from the excellent education and teaching experience of colleges and universities at home and abroad, and constantly improved our work. The visit of Beijing Information Science and Technology University will further deepen the cooperation and exchange between the two sides in the future.
