Ou Qingfa donates anti-epidemic materials.
Plague is merciless while human beings have feelings. Pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus has brought a “war” without the smoke of gunpowder, closely affecting everyone's heart. The general manager of Guangzhou Yaoxiang music and Culture Center and the alumnus graduated in 2009 from School of Foreign Languages, Ou Qingfa, is deeply attached to his alma mater, donating a batch of valuable anti-epidemic materials on the afternoon of February 27th. Liu Yingsi, party Secretary of the school, and Zhong Shuneng, dean of the school, accepted the donation on behalf of the school, and Zhu Xianlong, vice President of the school, and Zhao Shuidong, deputy Secretary of the school attended the ceremony.
Ou Qingfa said that he had been paying close attention to the development of his Alma mater, and was very glad to make contributions to his Alma mater. He hoped that all the teachers and students of the school would be united to overcome the difficulties together and embrace a better tomorrow with confidence. The supplies donated by Ouqingfa alumni included 1,000 masks, 500 gloves, disinfectant and temperature measuring guns etc. In the critical period of COVID-19 prevention and control, Ou Qingfa alumnus' kindness has met the urgent need of the school, demonstrating the profound friendship and strong social responsibility of our alumnus. According to the overall arrangement of COVID-19 prevention and control work, the school will do a good job of material storage, allocate and use donated materials in a unified manner, and ensure orderly progress of epidemic prevention and control work of the school.
It is reported that Ou Qingfa often provides free audio equipment for students to carry out activities. Alumni are the social foundation and banner of the school and an important force supporting the development of the alma mater, showing their true feelings in times of emergency. School of Foreign Languages is proud to cultivate alumni with great love.
