On the afternoon of March 1, 2018, the 2015 Grade General Meeting of Schoolof Foreign Languages was successfully held in Room 303, Building 33.Zhao Shuidong, deputy Secretary of college Party Committee and counselor attended the meeting. The theme of this conference is career guidance and career planning, which aims to encourage junior students to set up a good concept of career choice and employment, and clarify the future development direction as soon as possible.

First by the representatives of several students’ personal experience sharing: Lv Peiqi, one of the graduate students of 2017 grade, shared her valuable experience about Graduate Entrance Examination. She suggested that undergraduate students who intend to pursue the master degree should make preparation in advance. She told everyone that once you have decided to prepare for the examination, you should keep a gentle state of mind and not be affected by the surrounding environment as well as make your own time schedule and adhere to it. You Siyuan and ZhaoYifan, as undergraduate students of 2014 grade, provided some practical suggestions for those who intend to study abroad. The first is to select the target university and make full preparation as soon as possible. The second is to apply for internship programs during vacations to enrich your own professional background except for obtaining relevant certificates if you intend to become across-discipline postgraduate. Lin Weicong, one of the undergraduate students of Grade 2015, as the student representative of last CantonFair, introduced his internship experience in the Canton fair for those who intend to participate in Canton Fair this semester. Canton Fair is our compulsory internship course which promotes students toachieve more social experience and lays a firm foundation for future employment. No matter what job they do, they should be conscientious and diligent rather than being opportunistic.
