On the morning of January 3,2018, the military training mobilization meeting for 2017 freshmen of School of Foreign Languages was successfully held in A3-101,University Town Campus. Zhao Shuidong, the Deputy Secretary of party Committee of our School, attended the meeting and made a mobilization speech.

At the beginning of the conference, Secretary Zhao explained to the students of 2017 gradethe significance of college students’ participation in military training——that is, the cultivation of personal hard work, perseverance and collectivism spirit as well as the enhancement of the concept of national defense and organizational discipline through strict military training. The military training mainly included education and training of the PLA’s rules and regulations, small arms firing training and tactical learning.

In addition, Secretary Zhao notonly made requirements on the external appearance and internal moral character of the students, but also on behalf of the college expressed warm care for the students. He told everyone to payattention to the physical condition in the rigorous training. Finally, the students watched a clip of the documentary BrilliantChina, and communicated with each other to express their ideas after watching the film.

After the mobilization conference, all the students of grade 2017 will undergo the military training in the next half month, showing the students’ spirit of not being afraid of hardship and fatigue, courage and positive outlook.
