In order to promote the Sino-Japanese friendship and to strengthen their  understanding of Japanese culture, Japanese learners were invited to join the “2013 Japanese Culture Day” in the Guangzhou Garden Hotel on Oct. 13rd, 2013, which was organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Guangzhou and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce. This activity was co-organized by the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

The Japanese majors from all colleges and universities in Guangzhou and Japanese friends from Japanese enterprises in Guangzhou took part in this activity which mainly was inclusive of introduction to Japanese traditional culture, food culture, pop culture, tourism, organization of Japanese salon, try on kimono, taste of Japanese cuisine and so on.

What’ s more, the 2012 sophomore and 2013 freshmen of our school participated in ta lecture concerning “Japanese inns’ culture”. おかみ(Women) from different regions of Japan gave enthusiastic explanation to local customs and interacted with all the attendants, which helped us comprehend Japanese inns’ culture better.
